President Lee: ”Trump is the only person who can resolve inter-Korean relations” - South Korea

South Korean President Lee Jae-myung met with US President Donald Trump in Washington, D.C. on the 25th (local time) and said, "President Trump is the only person who can resolve inter-Korean relations."
If President Trump acts as a peacemaker, I will do my best to support him as a pacemaker."
President Lee replied, "I'm very happy to hear that." President Lee arrived at the White House at 12:35 pm that day and began his summit with President Trump. The public meeting lasted about an hour.
Following the meeting, the two leaders held an expanded meeting that also served as a luncheon, where they spoke for a total of approximately two hours and 20 minutes. At the press conference, which was held in a friendly atmosphere, President Lee told President Trump, "We will continue to work together to achieve peace."
"President Trump's role has been highlighted as a peacemaker who goes beyond his role as a protector and builds new peace," he said. "Many wars in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East have been put on hold and peace has been achieved thanks to his role as President Trump.
"I think President Trump is the first leader in the world to have taken such an interest in world peace and actually achieved results," he said.
He continued, "We must build peace on the Korean Peninsula, the only divided nation in the world.
I would like you to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and create a "Trump World" in North Korea so that we can play golf together."
"Korea has grown based on this. I hope that this can be expanded to include the military, economy, science and technology fields and developed into a futuristic model," he added.
