Baek Jongwon's bibimbap restaurant opens in Germany for the first time, second store in the works - Korean media
The Born Korea, a restaurant company led by culinary expert Baek Jongwon (former), has partnered with German distribution company Globus to open a food court in St. Wendel, Germany.
The bibimbap and rice bowls served at The Born Korea sold an average of 110 bowls in a week. Prior to this, The Born Korea held a food court event at a hypermarket operated by Globus on the 5th (local time).

The two companies are also considering selling bibimbap and rice bowls in the Ashbourne area of Germany, where many large Korean companies have set up shop.
