[Official Report] Ghost Story Teller Ami & K-POP Artist MikaL, First Ghost Story Performance in Korea ”Ghost Story Special Show in ”Seoul” was held...stunning Korean ghost story fans!
On June 16th, the "Kaidan Special Show in Seoul" was held at a venue in Seoul, South Korea, and K-POP artist MikaL (former "The Boss") appeared.
Ami, known as one of the leading ghost storytellers in Japan, appeared as a special guest. Since last year, MikaL has been appearing at ghost story events in Japan and telling Korean ghost stories in Japanese to Japanese ghost story fans.
Ami and MikaL have also performed together at many ghost story events in Japan, and Ami, who is also MikaL's ghost story mentor, is a Korean in a foreign land called Korea.
In front of the audience, she told a Japanese ghost story in Korean. Of course, Ami doesn't usually speak Korean, so she trained hard for this event and took on the challenge, but the audience at the venue were impressed by Ami's
The audience was thrilled by Ami's ghost stories! At times, screams could be heard from all over the room, as the stories were so scary that they were a universal hit, making this the best stage performance ever, frightening even Korean fans.
MikaL conveyed the horror and fun of Korean ghost stories to Korean ghost story fans in her own language, stimulating the participants' sense of fear and further livening up the atmosphere. After the show ended, Korean fans rushed up to Ami's former and presented her with bouquets.
There was also a scene where they gave each other presents, and it was a moment when Ami's ghost stories spread and were loved by many people in Korea, beyond the border. Ami and MikaL will continue to tell more ghost stories to Korean people.
This was the day that my next hope was born, that I wanted to share the ghost stories of the past. ◆ Ghost Story Teller Ami's Comment This was my first time performing in Korea with MikaL, who I often work with in Japan to tell ghost stories.
It was funny, there were screams at the scary parts, and people laughed during the conversations in between, so it was a great success. In the midst of all of this, I told my first ever ghost story in Korean in front of all these people. I had practiced a lot before showing it to them.
After the show, many people gave me wonderful feedback and praise, which made me feel relieved. It was a wonderful live performance where we were able to perform together, and the fun of MikaL's personality was overflowing.
◆MikaL Comment: I have had the opportunity to perform at ghost story events in Japan several times, and although I am quite easily scared, I feel that ghost stories are not just scary, but also entertaining and heartwarming.
I really came to like her. But I think the reason I fell in love with her was because I met Ami. Ami's ghost stories are really scary, but they also have a certain warmth to them.
It was a great honor to perform with the person I respect, Ami, in my home country of Korea. I also thought it was wonderful that Ami tried to learn Korean and communicated with the Korean audience.
It was a very valuable experience and I'd like to thank Ami and all the customers who came.
