キム・スヒョンを訴えた“カセ研”、抗告も棄却
[Exclusive] Kaseken, which sued Kim Soo Hyun, has its home and bank account provisionally seized… Appeal also dismissed
Kim, the representative of the Garosero Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as 'Garosero Institute'), who was subject to provisional measures on suspicion of violating the Stalking Punishment Act against actor Kim Soo-hyun, filed an appeal (objecting to the court's decision or order), but it was rejected.

On the 11th (today), according to an interview with a Korean media outlet, the Seoul Central District Court rejected the appeal filed by Kase Research on the 10th, which contested the provisional measures imposed for alleged violations of the Stalking Punishment Act.

Previously, the court had ordered Garosero Institute to cease its stalking activities against Kim Soo-hyun through “provisional measures,” and Garosero Institute had appealed the decision.

Kim, the representative of Garosero Institute, also had two of his own homes provisionally seized. On the 9th of this month, the Seoul Central District Court approved a request for provisional seizure of two homes in Seoul registered under Kim's name. One of the apartments is jointly owned by Kim and his older sister (50% each), and only Kim's share was provisionally seized. The claim amount is 2 billion won each, totaling 4 billion won. The creditor in this case is Kim Soo Hyun's agency, Gold Medalist.

Prior to this, a provisional attachment order was also filed against Kase Ken's bank account, which was cited on May 20. The creditors in this case are Kim Su-hyun and Gold Medalist.

Garosero Institute claimed that the late actress Kim Sae-ron had been in a relationship with Kim Soo-hyun since she was a minor, and that Gold Medalist had sent a certified letter demanding the return of 7 billion won, causing mental distress. When Kim Soo Hyun's side denied this, they immediately continued to expose materials containing Kim Soo Hyun's privacy as related evidence. Ultimately, the agency filed a complaint against Garosero Institute, Kim Sae-ron's family, and A, who claims to be Kim Sae-ron's aunt, on suspicion of violating the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Violence Crimes (distribution of recorded materials using cameras, etc.).

However, as the revelations from Garosero Institute continued, Kim Soo Hyun held an emergency press conference, revealing, “I denied the romantic relationship with the late Kim Sae-ron to protect tvN's ‘Queen of Tears.’” He also stated, “The materials related to the late Kim Sae-ron's family that have been publicly released through the research institute are fabricated,” and tearfully added, “The deceased could not have mistaken my age difference.” He also added that he had submitted such documents to the investigative authorities.

The lawyer representing Garosero Institute explained, “Kim Soo Hyun and Gold Medalist have decided to file criminal charges and civil lawsuits against the relevant parties in order to clarify the facts.” He continued, "At the request of the family, an unnamed individual claiming to be the aunt, and the operator of Garosero Institute, They also filed a lawsuit seeking a total of 120 billion won in damages against this individual at the Seoul Central District Court."

Additionally, Kim Soo Hyun's side filed a complaint with investigative authorities against those who made malicious posts targeting Kim Soo Hyun, alleging violations of the Information and Communications Network Act regarding defamation and the Criminal Code regarding insult, and filed an additional complaint and indictment against Kim Soo Hyun for suspected violations of the Stalking Punishment Act. In response to Kim Soo Hyun's legal actions, the Garosero Research Institute released new recordings, prompting Kim Soo Hyun to file another lawsuit, raising allegations of manipulation.
