During the "024 MCND TOKYO LIVE IN APRIL FREE EVENT" event, we asked them about the charms of each member and the fun they have together.
Q. Please introduce the group "MCND". All: Hello, we are "MCND". Castle J: "MCND" leader Castle
This is J. Nice to meet you! BIC: Hello. I'm BIC, the second son of "MCND". Yes. MINJAE
:This is Minjae from MCND! Minjae~ HUIJUN: I'm HUIJUN
WIN: Hello, I'm WIN, the maknae (youngest member) of MCND. Castle
J: Our name "MCND" is an abbreviation for "Music Creates New Dream," which means creating new dreams through music.
MINJAE: We will create the future! Castle J: What do you think? HUIJUN: I think so too. MINJAE
: Also, MCND is the most powerful and their performance is the most amazing, they're a really cool group!
Q. Please tell us about the charms and personalities of the other members.
HUIJUN: The youngest member of "MCND," WIN, usually seems very quiet.
But actually, I think he's very playful and wants to be loved by his older brothers, that's what I think of as the maknae! I think the reason he's so charming is because everyone likes his low voice.
WIN: Who should I be? MINJAE: What is Castle J's charm point? WIN: Castle
I still haven't found J's attractive point! We've been together for three years now...
MINJAE: Haven't found it yet? WIN: I'm kidding (laughs). Actually, I can do anything. There's nothing I can't do. MINJAE: That's cool.
Castle J: It's embarrassing. WIN: Well, what about your weaknesses? Castle J: You don't have to tell me your weaknesses! MINJAE: Just talk about your charm points! Castle
J: What are MINJAE's strengths? MINJAE: I'm looking forward to it! Castle J: First of all, he's tall. He's the tallest member of MCND. And he's bright.
His energy is his charm! I think his hardworking attitude is his strong point. MINJAE: What is BIC's charm point? Castle J: He's small, isn't he? (laughs)
MINJAE: She's small and cute! And... well... well, that's it (laughs). She's so cute I want to touch her face! Her best selling point is that she's good at dancing. And singing.
I think he's really good at keeping the rhythm. BIC: HUIJUN is cute. Next! (laughs) I'm just kidding (laughs) HUIJUN looks a bit unapproachable.
But when you actually get to know her, you can see that she has a tsundere-like style, and sometimes she acts a little unexpectedly. I feel that she has a charisma that is different from the other members.
Everyone in our group is good at dancing, but just like how each of us has our own unique style, HUIJUN has his own unique sexiness.
I think we can do that. MINJAE: That's right! HUIJUN: Thank you! Q. What is your impression of Japanese fans? What are some memorable episodes from your concerts or special events?
BIC: When I first came to Japan, it was the first time we performed in front of our Japanese fans, I think it was March of last year.
At that time, (the fans) were seeing us for the first time, so we were nervous when we went on stage, but as soon as we started performing, the Japanese fans stood up and reacted.
We can't forget that moment. WIN: I think our first meeting is the most memorable for me.
MINJAE: I had the chance to talk to Japanese fans for the first time during the fans autographing session, and they were all very shy at the time.
It may seem cute, but it remains a good memory for me. HUIJUN: The Japanese fans I remember were always smiling and happy no matter what the members did.
That's what I remember the most. Castle J: Well, for me, it was last year when we came to Japan for the first time. MINJAE, BIC: That's right.
Castle J: After our debut, we only met our Japanese fans through video calls. I hope to be able to meet the fans I met through video calls in two years.
I think it's especially memorable because I was able to actually perform on stage with them and meet and talk to them. Q. What Japanese have you learned recently?
WIN: Energy. MINJAE: Energy! Castle J: I've never heard that before either.
HUIJUN: A fan wrote to me in Korean, "I got energy from this." WIN: So I translated it into Japanese and memorized it.
MINJAE: I learned "Komorebi" and "Douzo Okaine Naku" together. When I watch anime all the time, I'm always interested in these parts, so I always talk about them and memorize them, so they stick in my memory.
HUIJUN: When I was coming here today, I saw "Bokkok" (Korean). I asked what it was called in Japanese and found out it was "Sakura".
BIC: I didn't learn it recently. I came to Japan in January. That's when I learned "Mata ne" (see you later).
MINJAE, WIN: "See you later~" BIC: I think we used that a lot. MINJAE: What about Castle J? Castle J: "I love it!"
WIN: Did you just learn the meaning of "daisuki"? BIC: You're lying (laughs) Castle J: I love you until I die! Q. Are there any Japanese words you learned from your fans?
MINJAE: I heard the Kansai dialect, but I didn't know it at all and was confused. Castle J: I'm Kitsune! My nickname is Kitsune, so my fans told me.
WIN: I'm excited! MINJAE: Are you feeling excited right now? WIN: My fans told me they are.
HUIJUN: I speak Korean with my fans every day... Ah! One of my fans was looking at the Ichiran ramen menu.
I always hear that. Other members: Ah, Ichiran! HUIJUN: I've only eaten there once, but it seems like I've eaten there a lot (laughs).
Q. When you come to Japan, is there something you always eat or a place you always go to? WIN: I like soda ice cream! BIC: Something I recommend!
WIN: Convenience store ice cream. They have soda flavored ice cream! MINJAE: Is it good? WIN: It's really good! In Korea, they have ice cream with this flavor.
I don't have a sweet tooth. BIC: I absolutely love sweet things! Mitarashi dango! If you go to Seven-Eleven, you can find them there! Castle
J: (Looking at HUIJUN) We have to talk about Ichiran Ramen (laughs)
HUIJUN: He's only been there once! I don't eat a lot of sweets, but in Japan
When I come to Japan, I go to a convenience store, look around, and eat anything that looks delicious! I also eat cup ramen! I don't really know what it is, but I just look at the packaging and buy anything that looks delicious.
Castle J: When I come to Japan, I have to eat draft beer, ramen, and sushi! MINJAE: Yakiniku too! Castle
J: Because the food is really good! There are a lot of them.
J: When I come to Japan, I go shopping! Japanese fashion is famous!
MINJAE: I had some gummy candies. I don't know what kind of gummy candies they were, but they were sour grape gummy candies. I liked them so I ate them a few times. Castle J: Pudding!
WIN: Pudding is good too! MINJAE: (Turning to BIC again) BIC is the last one! WIN: BIC is ~ Castle
J: I know! I love convenience store oden. BIC: MINJAE recommended it to me, so I ate it, but I thought I was going to pass out.
It was really good! The rice balls were also really good! MINJAE: What was the best part of the oden? The beef tendon, the radish...
BIC: The broth (oden soup) was delicious! MINJAE: The broth was great!
BIC: (making eating motions) Take a bite of the rice ball, then drink the broth...it's amazing!

The game I like is "Tekken"! HUIJUN: I bought a joystick. Castle J: We all play it at the dorm!
Q. By the way, who is your favorite character in Tekken? BIC: I'm Hwarang.
MINJAE: I like Eddie. Castle J: Alisa WIN: Victor HUIJUN: Devil Jin Q. Who is the best member (at games)?
WIN: I'm the best. Castle J: I'm the best, right? MINJAE: I'm not good at Tekken, but I'm the best! Castle
J: Everyone is bad at it. BIC: Everyone is about the same. HUIJUN: We just do it. (laughs) Castle
J: It's funny because everyone is equally bad at it (laughs).
Q. Please say a few words to all the Gem members in Japan. Castle J: Gem members! It's been a while since I last saw you, and I'm so happy!
