Actor Lee Jun Ki's Japanese fan club "JoonpirE" donated children's books to a Korean children's institution earlier this month. This year marks the 10th time the book donation, which has been made annually since 2021, has been made.
In the fourth year, a total of 13 facilities have sold well over 1,000 copies. According to the Daegu Medical Association on the 5th, JoonpirE was a member of the hospital department of Yonsei Cancer Hospital earlier this month.
They donated 100 picture books to the preschool at the National Library of Korea and the Pohang St. Mary's Hospital. They selected the books with the help of the National Library of Korea and donated them to the Tokyo Shinpocho Bookstore "CHEKKORI".
In cooperation with children's organizations such as the Daegu Children's Book Center (CCORI) and the Daegu independent bookstore Traveler's Books, we donated books and prepared various souvenirs for the children.
"JoonpirE" will be certified by Samsung Seoul Hospital, Busan General Social Welfare Center, Kyungnam General Social Welfare Center, Yeongnam University Hospital, and Social Welfare Act in 2021.
Starting with book donations to five institutions, including the Daegu Welfare Association, in 2022, we donated books to three institutions, including Daegu Dongsan Medical Center, Saebyeongwon, a Daegu child welfare facility, and the Jeollabuk-do Disabled Welfare Center.
Last year, we distributed picture books to Holt Daegu Social Welfare Center, Holt Suyoung Social Welfare Center, Kim Eun-jung Pediatrics, and other locations.
The president of the JoonpirE fan club said, "We will distribute books to children's hospitals and children's institutions nationwide under the name 'Lee Jun Ki Bookstore.'
"We will continue to donate books to Korean medical institutions," said Kim Eun-jung, director of the pediatrics clinic. "In addition to donating children's picture books, they also serve as a bridge between medical institutions in Japan and Korea. We will continue to donate books to Korean medical institutions in Japan instead of four times.
I hope that the cultural exchange of love will continue until the day of the 0th anniversary." "JoonpirE," which is made up of about 300 Japanese members, is "Lee Jun Ki Fighting Tactics."
The fan club name is an abbreviation of "Korean Wave," and they continue to make donations because they felt closer to Korea thanks to actor Lee Jun Ki's Hallyu and became sympathetic to Korean culture while learning the Korean language.
