Deokja (Ahn HyoSeop) is reading a novel he has been reading since he was 15 years old, and after hearing the news that the author has passed an unknown public competition, he decides to continue reading the novel.
He plans to make it a paid service, but is informed that it will be a paid service in reality, and Deokja learns that reality is a novel. After that, Deokja and his colleagues in the real world live in a world where death and pain are rampant.
