[Official] Ahn Hyo-Seop & Lee Min-Ho's film ”From the Point of View of the Omniscient Reader” is a hit in Hong Kong after its success in Taiwan... It surpasses ”Tombbreaker” in its opening week

The film "From the Point of View of an Omniscient Reader" topped the box office in Hong Kong on its release day, recording the highest opening score for a Korean film in its opening week since 2021.
"From the Perspective of an Omniscient Reader" is about a novel that has been serialized for over 10 years, but on the day it is completed, the world in the novel becomes reality, and the only reader, Kim Do,
This fantasy action film follows Kuja as he tries to survive in a post-apocalyptic world alongside the novel's protagonist, Yoo Jun-hyuk, and his colleagues.
"From the Perspective of an Omniscient Reader" was released in Hong Kong on July 31st, followed by Taiwan on July 23rd.
It ranked first at the overall box office. Its box office sales in its opening week exceeded 3.1 million Hong Kong dollars (approximately 58 million yen), surpassing "Tombbreaker/Pamyo."
This is the highest figure for a Korean film released since 2021. "From the Perspective of an Omniscient Reader" will be released in Taiwan on July 23rd, and will be the highest-grossing film of all time, following "Along with the Gods: Chapter 1: Sin and Punishment" and "The Tomb of the Lost/Paranormal."
It has surpassed the opening score of "My Love" and has had an extraordinary presence overseas. As of August 5th, it is still in second place in the overall box office in the Taiwan region, and is expected to be released in the Taiwan region in 2025.
It is currently the top-selling Korean film at the box office and is accelerating its quest to become a long-running hit. Following its success in Taiwan, it is also enjoying a breakthrough in Hong Kong with the release of "The Omniscient Reader."
