EXO's LAY will not be attending the EXO fan meeting to be held on the 14th. Management office SM Entertainment announced on the same day on the fan community "We
"Lay will be unable to attend the fan meeting due to unavoidable circumstances," the statement read. "We ask for your understanding regarding the sudden change in participating members.
Lay was scheduled to appear at the EXO fan meeting "EXO'verse" to be held at Inspire Arena in Incheon on the same day.
Due to LAY's absence, the fan meeting will feature five members: SUHO, CHANYEOL, DO, KAI, and SEHUN.
This fan meeting will be the first time EXO has resumed group activities in about two years since 2023.
EXO has been on hiatus since 2019 as members enlisted in the military one after another. All members will complete their military service in September this year, and will release an album and begin activities in the first quarter of next year.
