Getaway and Go (Jangdobari) is a travel variety show where talent Jang Do-young sets off on spontaneous trips with friends, armed with plenty of topics to discuss. In episode 5 of season 3, airing today (13th) at 5 PM, Jang Do-young and Lee Jun-young's diverse conversations unfold as they head to Tokyo.
The two, who share the trait of being introverted, quickly become close and reveal a surprising connection: they even share the same mother's name.
Lee Jun-young's candid revelations also draw attention. He confesses how he became close friends with Park Ji-hoon (formerly of Wanna One), whom he met through 'Weak Hero Class 2'. "He's also very shy around people, but he took a real liking to me. We share the same hobbies, so we've even entered (dance) battles together," he shares, also planning to reveal an unexpected contact name saved on his phone. Jang Do-young remarked to Lee Jun-young, who loves dance despite his introverted nature and shows a completely different side when acting, "You seem like the pinnacle of unexpectedness."
Furthermore, Lee Jun-young is set to reveal behind-the-scenes stories from this year's biggest hit, ‘Good Day’, piquing interest. Having taken on the role of Yeon-beom, the boyfriend of Geum-myeong (IU), in the drama and leapt to global stardom, he revealed, "Both my parents cried a lot while watching the show," and also mentioned the scene where the two families meet, one of the drama's memorable moments. He particularly shared, "My father said, 'I want him to marry (Geum-myeong). I'll pour the burnt rice water myself," revealing his father's wonderfully over-the-top, immersive reaction that is sure to draw attention. Additionally, candid discussions about his family and acting, tips on self-studying Japanese, and various other behind-the-scenes stories related to the work are scheduled to follow.
