Music publication Rolling Stone recently unveiled exclusive cover images featuring JUNG KOOK. This photo shoot marks the first time in Rolling Stone's history that Japan, the UK and South Korea have collaborated on a joint project. JUNG KOOK was chosen as the inaugural protagonist of this project, demonstrating his status as a 'global pop star'.
JUNG KOOK graces the covers of the Japanese, British, and South Korean editions of Rolling Stone. Inside, alongside the pictorial, an interview detailing his activities, musical direction, and vision is featured. Notably, JUNG KOOK is the first Korean solo artist to appear on the cover of Rolling Stone UK. His pictorial was also released as the digital cover for Rolling Stone editions in the US, France, India, the Philippines, and China. Simultaneously gracing the print and digital covers of eight countries, he demonstrated formidable brand power.
In the interview, JUNG KOOK stated, "This is a time for a new leap forward. I'm constantly evolving while trying new things. That's precisely why I want to show the diverse facets within me. I aspire to be an artist who creates the flow, not one who merely follows it, and an artist without limits."
Furthermore, on the global audio and music streaming platform Spotify, the cumulative streams of solo tracks released under JUNG KOOK's name have surpassed 10 billion. This marks the first time a Korean solo artist has achieved 10 billion streams. Additionally, his solo single ‘Seven (feat. Latto)’ became the first single by a Korean artist to exceed 2.6 billion cumulative plays.
