FTISLAND's Lee HONG-KI to appear in musical ”Sugar”... role of a musician who dresses up as a woman

Lee Hong-ki of the band FTISLAND will once again perform on stage. FNC Entertainment announced on the 23rd that "Lee Hong-ki will be cast in the musical 'Sugar'."
"Sugar" is a musical based on the film "Some Like It Hot" (1959).
The story is about two jazz musicians who disguise themselves as a woman and join a female band. HONG-KI plays the role of Josephine (Joe).
He is expected to show his complex side through his deep acting. He has been active in many productions. He has appeared in musicals such as "Those Days," "I Loved You," "The Return," "Jack the Ripper," and "Mata"
His singing and acting skills have been recognized in dramas such as "Sugar." Management Office stated, "Lee Hong-ki has captivated the audience with his broader acting skills and satisfying vocals through this drama.
"Sugar" will be performed at the Hanjung Arts Center Grand Theater in Seoul from December 12th to February 22nd next year.
