TWICE's Chae Young releases first solo album in 10 years since debut

TWICE member CHAEYOUNG releases her solo album “LIL FANTASY vol.1” today (the 12th).

This marks CHAEYOUNG's first solo album since debuting as a member of TWICE in 2015. Among TWICE members, Nayeon, Jihyo, and Tzuyu have previously released solo songs. CHAEYOUNG becomes the fourth solo artist within the group.

　“LIL FANTASY vol.1” is a full album containing a total of 10 tracks. It includes the title track 'SHOOT' (subtitled 'Firecracker'), along with 'AVOCADO', 'BAND-AID', 'GIRL', 'RIBBONS', 'DOWNPOUR', 'BF', Shadow Play, 'My Guitar', and the CD-exclusive track 'Lonely doll waltz'.

　The title track 'SHOOT' is a song where CHAEYOUNG participated in writing the lyrics, composing, and arranging. Her agency, JYP Entertainment, stated, “It's a song expressing her confidence and aspirations for the solo career she will build going forward,” adding, “CHAEYOUNG will draw attention with her performance blending kitschy melody lines with jazz and disco vibes.”

　The album's audio will be released today at 1 PM KST via various online music sites. CHAEYOUNG shared, “It feels like opening treasure boxes I've collected one by one,” adding, “This album is packed full of the tastes, thoughts, and attitudes I've accumulated over time. I want to honestly show my inner self.”
