China's auto production and sales exceed 15 million units in January-June: Chinese media

According to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, many economic indicators of China's automobile industry recorded double-digit growth in the first half of this year compared to the same period last year.
In the first half of the year, the automobile market continued to perform well, with production and sales figures both exceeding 15 million units.
This was a 10% increase over the same period last year. Among them, the production volume of new energy vehicles (NEVs) increased 41.4% year-on-year to 6,968,000 units, and the sales volume increased 40.3% to 6,968,000 units.
The total number of new NEV sales was 937,000 units. New NEV sales accounted for 44.3% of total new automobile sales.
During the same period, China's automobile exports increased by 10.4% to 3,083,000 units.
Of these, exports of NEVs increased by 75.2% to 1.06 million units. An official from the association said, "Thanks to the implementation of the car replacement policy, the domestic market has definitely improved, and the automobile market is
