Bitcoin Treasure Boom Could Offset Altcoin Losses

Crypto investors can offset losses on some altcoins by investing in bitcoin and bitcoin treasury companies, according to HashCash.

On the 23rd (local time), CK said, "The trend of incorporating Bitcoin into corporate finances is the same as a new altcoin season for cryptocurrency investors," and "Now is the time to organize altcoins and focus on Bitcoin."
"It's time to move to Bitcoin (BTC) or Bitcoin-based treasuries," he said. "Bitcoin treasury companies are stepping up their efforts to increase the value of their Bitcoin holdings."
"We are accumulating Bitcoin, the world's first virtual currency, by using various fund-raising methods, including issuing convertible bonds, and this is an attractive factor for investors.
His comments come amid a recent surge in corporate adoption of Bitcoin. Since June 5, the number of publicly listed companies holding Bitcoin has doubled.
Currently, more than 240 publicly listed companies hold Bitcoin on their balance sheets. According to BitcoinTreasuries.NET, this represents 100% of the entire BTC supply.
This represents approximately 3.96% of the total supply. Adam Back has previously predicted that increased institutional and government adoption could make Bitcoin a $200 trillion market opportunity.
Bitcoin treasury companies are predicting "hyperbitcoinization" - a future in which Bitcoin becomes the world's key currency and replaces fiat currencies.
However, concerns are growing about Bitcoin Treasure companies. For example, the Bitcoin Treasure of investment company Metaplanet
Impremium soared to $596,154 as of May 27, but this is because investors are investing in Bitcoin through Metaplanet shares and paying more than five times the actual cost.
Nonetheless, Back said the cryptocurrency could be an alternative that would allow bitcoin-focused companies to recover losses incurred on altcoins.
He said that at X, he was "advising people to find a way out of alts" and that "they could cover their losses by converting them to BTC through treasury companies."
"It is also possible to do so," he said.
