In particular, a police official said, "We discussed the warrant for the property with the prosecution and the warrant for the person with the special prosecutor." The police are currently investigating the matter, with former Chief of the Security Service Park Jong-jun and former Chief of Police Kim Sung-hoon as the investigation team.
The government has not yet decided whether to refer the cases of Deputy Chief of Security Lee Kwang-woo, former Chief of the Security Headquarters, and others to the prosecution, and instead plans to hand them all over to the special prosecutor.
