President Lee: ”I've ordered the production of a presidential watch with high cost performance, so please look forward to it” (South Korea)

South Korean President Lee Jae-myung said on the 11th, "After listening to many proposals, we decided that a gift that is both meaningful and practical would be appropriate, and we have decided to create a cost-effective presidential watch."
President Lee said on his Facebook page, "I would like to correct the fact that some reports about the presidential watch have been published and have caused some misunderstandings."
Following reports that the president would not be making a watch, he himself directly corrected the facts. President Lee said, "The other day, at a dinner with the leadership of the Democratic Party of Korea,
"After that, many people said that watches were not cost-effective among the gifts given by the president.
President Lee added, "As this is a symbolic event that represents the Republic of Korea, we will put our heart and soul into preparing it. We hope that everyone will be proud of it."
"I want to give a gift that will inspire people," he said, "so I hope people will look forward to it."
