Six out of 10 Japanese people say ”There will be no change in Japan-Korea relations after President Lee Jae-myung takes office” - South Korean media
The results of a public opinion poll announced on the 9th showed that "six in ten Japanese people believe that there will be no change in Japan-South Korea relations since South Korean President Lee Jae-myung took office."
In a poll conducted by NHK on the 6th to 8th of this month targeting 1,201 men and women aged 18 and over, 59% of respondents answered that there had been no change in Japan-Korea relations since President Lee took office.
The number of people who answered that Japan-South Korea relations "will get worse" was 24%, while 5% answered that they "will get better."
Meanwhile, the approval rating of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party rose 5.2 percentage points from the previous month to 31.6%.
In addition, 50% of respondents said they "do not have expectations" regarding "Japan-U.S. tariff negotiations," while 44% said they "have expectations."
