The three special investigation bills (the Special Investigation Act for the Civil Rebellion, the Special Investigation Act for Kim Gun-Hee, and the Special Investigation Act for Corporal Choi) that were passed by the National Assembly under the leadership of the ruling Democratic Party are expected to be promulgated after a Cabinet meeting tomorrow.
According to the Legislation Ministry, the bills, which passed the plenary session on the 5th, were transferred to the Cabinet meeting on the morning of the 9th. The Cabinet meeting will be held at 10 a.m. on the 10th under the presidency of President Lee Jae-myung.
It was confirmed that the three special investigation bills have been submitted to the Cabinet as bills for promulgation. Once the bills are deliberated and voted on by the Cabinet and approved by the President, they will be published in the Official Gazette.
The investigation will be announced on the 5th, and each special investigation team will begin its investigation after the appointment of special investigation teams and preparations.
