The teaser video for TAMBURINS' first 'Blue Hinoki' campaign, which immediately after its release on June 5, attracted a lot of attention on SNS. The sound of water drops, narration, and the mysterious gaze of actor Byun Woo-seok combined to create a short but intense and magical atmosphere. The water-drenched silhouettes and the gills appearing around the neck, the visuals were unprecedented and exciting, and heightened expectations for what was to come.
In the second teaser video that followed, the voice of the main character, Rikako Yagi, who had narrated the previously released teaser video of Byun Woo-suk, appeared with a strong presence. The overwhelming visual of Rikako Yagi staring straight ahead in a provocative mood with vivid colors, and the narration by a man who seems to be the voice of Byun Woo-seok, suggested a tense relationship between the two.
This campaign is highly anticipated, as Rikako Yagi joins the much-talked-about collaboration between TAMBURINS and Byun Woo-suk that took place last year. The unpredictable encounter between the two, which transcends countries and languages, is realized through the creative worldview pursued by TAMBURINS, delivering fresh impact and anticipation to fans in Japan and abroad.
It remains to be seen how TAMBURINS' new summer perfume 'Blue Hinoki', which appeared through the two actors, will be released in the future.
Note that TAMBURINS opened Isetan Shinjuku in May and is currently preparing a flagship store in the Shibuya area, presumably in preparation for future expansion in Japan.
