”SEVENTEEN” 5th album CD and sound source dominates the top spot... Today (1st) ”Inkigayo” appearance
SEVENTEEN continues its march to No.1 with its fifth album and title track 'THUNDER', which debuted at No.1 on the bugs daily chart on May 31st.
The title track, 'THUNDER', debuted at No.1 on the latest (May 31st) bugs daily chart, and after debuting at No.2 on May 27th, the song has remained in the top spot, finally reaching the top spot.
The 5th album 'HAPPY BURSTDAY' also swept the domestic and international album charts at No.1. In Japan, it held the No.1 position on Oricon's daily album ranking for four consecutive days (from May 27th to 30th) immediately after its release. It was also the only K-pop album released this year to achieve double million-seller status on its first day, and it debuted at No.1 on the HANTEO chart's daily album chart.
Foreign press has also been keenly watching the comeback of SEVENTEEN. On the 31st (local time), Grammy.com in the U.S. stated, “HAPPY BURSTDAY is a gorgeous expression of the members' outstanding musical abilities,” and predicted, "SEVENTEEN will open a new chapter not only with a new album, but also with a tour and new unit singles."
