Korean elementary school teachers dismissed after students witness inappropriate behaviour in classroom

The Education Bureau has launched an inspection at an elementary school in Daegu after parents complained about inappropriate behavior by male and female teachers in classrooms.
According to the Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education on the 20th, at around 3:30 pm on the 7th, a male and female teacher engaged in inappropriate behavior in a classroom at an elementary school in Daegu.
The school also reportedly had a complaint from a parent that the student was engaged in sexual assault. Some students reportedly witnessed the incident, and upon learning of the incident, the parents filed a complaint with the Daegu Office of Education.
The two teachers were dismissed from their posts the next day after receiving the complaint, and an investigation was launched into the matter.
The teachers in question have reportedly denied any inappropriate conduct. The Education Bureau plans to decide whether to refer the matter to a disciplinary committee once the results of the inspection are released.
