[61st Baeksang] Joo Ji Hoon & Kim TaeRi win Best Acting Award... ”Thanks to working together”

Joo Ji Hoon and Kim TaeRi won the Best Acting Award in the Broadcasting category at this year's Baeksang Arts Awards. The 61st Baeksang Arts Awards ceremony was held on the afternoon of the 5th at the COEX Hall in Seoul.
The event was hosted by Shin Dong-yup, actress Suzy (former Miss A), and actor Park Bo-Gum. Joo Ji-hoon, who won the Best Actress Award for "Trauma Code," said, "I'm glad to be working on this project.
"I have come to deeply understand the idea that 'the job of an actor is that without colleagues, there is nothing you can do alone,'" he said, "At some point, I felt like I was an actor, a staff member, a producer, and a director."
"I really feel that we are all colleagues, not just one person," he said. "I want to say 'Thank you' to everyone who has worked with us to create and enjoy our work."
It's like, 'Come out and greet me as an actor,'" he said, "Even now, I am diligently filming with other colleagues.
I hope to see you again in another project that we can talk about," he added.
Kim TaeRi, who won the Best Actress Award for "Jeongnyeong," said, "I am honored to be able to act and live in the most glorious period of national drama for women.
"I respect and thank the teachers who are still here today, carrying on what we have learned, even though we have gone through periods of light and darkness that were not fully captured in the book," he said.
I feel embarrassed because I feel like I am not good enough to receive the role, but if I interpret it positively, I will try not to compromise, just like the advice that senior Ra Mi Ran gave to Ye In as the leader of the group.
"It wasn't the absolute right answer, but that was my romanticism at the time. Thinking about what I was lacking as a romanticism is a way of wanting to do well next time," he said.
"I will work hard to make my desire to become better a driving force without feeling ashamed of it," he said, "with love and affection in visible and invisible places, and with passion."
I would like to share this award with the staff who sailed alongside me with a sense of responsibility until the very end, and with the supporting actors, minor roles and leading actors who courageously walked alongside me on this truly difficult path.
"To all our viewers, I hope you will continue to take an interest in and enjoy our voices and movements. Thank you so much for loving 'Jungnyeong.'"
This year's Baeksang Arts Awards ceremony was decorated with the keyword "Towards, Sailing," conveying the hopeful message of popular culture and arts sailing toward diverse values.
