KG of JYP Entertainment's (hereafter, JYP) global girl group VCHA announced her departure from the group, claiming that she was abused by the staff of her agency.

On the 8th, KG posted on her SNS, "I was abused by certain staff members" and added, "I have decided to end my contract with JYP and leave VCHA. I also filed a lawsuit yesterday."

She continued, "I do not support a working or living environment where some members try to make extreme choices" and claimed that she "does not support an environment that induces eating disorders and makes members make extreme choices."

She added, "Despite the hard work and extreme restrictions on my personal life, I have accumulated huge debts with little pay" and said, "I will continue to work on music, but I don't want to do so in this kind of environment. I hope that this decision to leave the group will be a stepping stone to protect idols and practitioners in the K-pop system."
