The story depicts her discovering the true identity of Kim Zu Hun, who had been hiding the fact that he is a close friend of Queen Dowager Min (Myung Se Bin), and coming face to face with him.
Gon was preparing to fight back against the Queen Mother's forces. Gon, Myung-yoon (Hong Yeji), and Kap-seok (Kim Sol-jin) were at the Queen Mother's funeral.
After secretly breaking into Jin-soo's house and performing an autopsy, he revealed that Jin-soo's death was a homicide caused by poisoning.
Gon secretly meets with Prince Toseong (Kim MinJae), whom he believes in,
Assuming that the man with whom the Queen Dowager had a secret rendezvous was Sangrok, the two made a promise to meet again at Huiminseo (a hospital for common people) where Sangrok was staying after each of them made desperate preparations.
Gon meets Sanrok at the Huiminseo Palace and asks, "Are you the man the Queen Dowager met at Buyongjeong?" Sanrok honestly replies, "Yes, I am."
He surprised Gon by answering, "Yes." Gon then asked, "Do you think you can be forgiven for having an affair with the Queen Mother of a country and then killing many people to cover it up?" Sanrok replied, "Yes.
Gon was angry at Sanroku's brazen attitude and said, "I will cut off your heads, smash them into pieces, and scatter them in all directions as food for animals.
"It will," he warned sternly.
