Lawyer Shin, regarding president Yoon's remarks: if true, must apologize = Korea
Attorney Shin Pyung, who is known as a mentor to South Korean President Yoon Seok-yeol, said about President Yoon's controversial remarks which had caused a stir, that "He must apologize regardless the coverage context."

Lawyer Shin said on Facebook on September 29th, "The importance of the position of president makes him do that", and "regardless of the circumstances, regardless of the content of the report, please throw away your personal pride. He should do that (apologize)", he said.

He said, "As a prosecutor who inevitably meets many criminals in the process of carrying out his duties, after working for several years, the word 'XX' comes to his mouth. It's unclear whether he said the word or not, but looking at his past career, he would always use the word easily.”

He also said, "President Yoon remembers saying these words when he expresses anger about MBC's report in the presidential office but does not explicitly mention this word. He is basically a very honest person, so can't lie or dodge."

During the commute to the Yongsan presidential office that day, President Yoon left without answering a question from a reporter asking if he was willing to apologize for the controversy.

Kim Dae-gi, chief of the presidential secretary, said at a press conference at the Yongsan presidential office, "President Yoon's slang was unknown, and he did not say 'Biden.'"

At the same time, regarding President Yoon's expression of "this XX" to the National Assembly, he said, "It came out naturally and talked about it, but in fact, it is difficult for him to remember. President I feel quite confused right now." He added, "If you remove the noise, you won't be able to hear the words again."
