"Taiwan missiles can reach Beijing, attacks should be considered" ... Taiwanese Speaker of House warns

"Taiwan's missiles can reach Beijing, China," said Taiwan's President of the Legislative Yuan said, "China must consider the attack on Taiwan."

On June 12th, President Yuan said in an online speech on the Taiwanese overseas network that he mentioned the 200-kilometer “Yunfeng” missile that placed Beijing in range, Taiwanese media such as the Liberty Times and the United Daily News reported on 13th.

"I knew of the fact that the Yunfeng missile could reach Beijing when President Chen Shui-bian was in office (From February 2002 to end of January 2005)," said President Yuan.

However, "Taiwan will not invade mainland China or attack Beijing and the Sankyo Dam like Chiang Kai-shek, who was driven by the Chinese Communist Party and retreated to Taiwan."

Legislative Yuan said, "We must make it strategically clear that 'all the democracies of the world will come to Taiwan's aid and defense,' and let China know that 'it will pay a heavy price for war with Taiwan.

He continued, "Taiwan has a 'natural barrier' called the Taiwan Strait, which is different from the war between Russia and Ukraine."
