YUCHUN (former JYJ) pays 56 million won to victims of sexual assault = "planned to pay off" at the end of the year and the end of January next year
It was reported that Korean singer YUCHUN (former JYJ, 34) was expected to implement a court ruling that sentenced woman A, who had been accused of sexual assault, to pay 50 million won.

Korean media "Sports Kyogo" reported that YUCHUN recently sent a debt repayment payment plan and informed the victims. According to the contents, a total of 56 million won including compensation amount of 50 million won and interest for 12% delay will be paid separately at the end of the year and the end of January next year.

Prior to this, A complained in 2016 that "YUCHUN raped them in the toilet of an entertainment facility in Seoul in 2015." As a result of the investigation, YUCHUN was dismissed from prosecution, and A was put on trial on suspicion of false accusation, but was acquitted by the Supreme Court.

Since then, in July 2019, the Seoul Court Mediation Center issued a compulsory mediation decision in a lawsuit for damages filed by A against YUCHUN. According to this, YUCHUN will have to pay A 50 million won, and if he does not respond, 12% of late interest will be added from September 1st, 2019 to the day when all payments are made. YUCHUN did not file an objection within two weeks of receiving this mediation proposal, so it was finalized.

However, YUCHUN was put in custody because he did not pay this amount. At that time, he declared to the court that the rent deposit of 30 million won and the bankbook balance of less than 1 million won were all in the name of another person.
