Man who opened emergency door of Asiana air "Wanted to get off because it was stuffy" = Korea
On May 26th, just before departing from Jeju Airport in South Korea and landing at Daegu Airport, a man in his 30s who opened the emergency door of a passenger plane at an altitude of about 213 meters said, "I wanted to get off because I was stuffy."

The Daegu Dongbu Police Station detained A on suspicion of violating the Aviation Safety Act and is still investigating. According to the police, A stated, "I recently lost my job and was feeling stressed."

After A was arrested by the police at Daegu Airport on that day, he refused to make any statements, but as the police investigation continued, he began to talk about the motive for the crime. As soon as the investigation is completed, the police plan to apply for an arrest warrant against A on suspicion of violating the Aviation Safety Act.

On the other hand, due to A's actions at an altitude of 213 meters, passengers complained of extreme anxiety, and nine of them were treated at the hospital for symptoms such as breathing difficulties.
