The Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education has appointed actor Cha Sun-woo (B1A4 Baro) as its first public relations ambassador.
According to the Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education on the 9th, a publicity rally was held at the Gwangju Student Independence Movement Memorial Hall on the same day.
Along with the appointment ceremony for the new ambassadors, the launch ceremony for the "Our School PR Team" was held. The event was attended by Superintendent Lee Jung-seong, Cha Sun-woo, and about 200 students from the "Our School PR Team."
Cha Sun-woo supports the students of Gwangju and embarks on an initiative to spread awareness of the value of a Gwangju education.
We will participate in various promotional activities such as the city education office's public interest campaign and talent donations.
Cha Sun-woo said, "I am grateful for the honor of being appointed as the first public relations ambassador for Gwangju Education, where I spent my school days. I will do my best to fulfill my role as a public relations ambassador who will widely publicize the value of Gwangju Education."
Cha Sunwoo graduated from elementary and middle school in Gwangju. While attending high school in Gwangju, he transferred to a high school in Seoul and later debuted as a member of the group B1A4.
He is currently active as an actor with solid acting skills and a sincere image through numerous TV series such as "Reply 1994", movies, plays, and musicals.
