Yang Hyun Suk (former YG representative) who has suspected to cover up B.I (former iKON member) drug use. The Police investigation has been re-examined at Seoul Central District Prosecution

Former producer B.I (23) of former member B.I (23) of the boy group "iKON" suspected of drug administration and Yang Hyun Suk (50) of YG Entertainment suspected to try to cover up the case investigation. Seoul Central District Prosecutor will take charge of the investigation again.

According to the legal circle, the Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office (General Prosecutor Kim Ho-sam) is conducting an investigation following the Suwon (Suwon) District Prosecutor's case with the former representative of Yang and BI. Prior to this, the Kyunggi Southern District Police Agency sent the two to Suwon District Prosecutor with an opinion of indictment without detention.

Mr. Yang is suspected of threatening Mr. A, who provided public interest information about BI drug suspicion, by forcing him to subvert the statement. There is also a suspicion that he may be guilty of inviting the criminal to escape the job. BI is suspected of breaking the law on drug management.

In June of last year, Mr. A, who provided information to the public interest, reported to the National Interest Commission that he was under pressure from YG. At that time, the Seoul District Prosecutor's Office had transferred the case from the Supreme Prosecutor's Office and investigated it.

Mr. A overturned his statement that BI had not secured or administered drugs during the final investigation of three police investigations in connection with BI's alleged drug suspicion in 2016. When controversy over a sloppy investigation occurred, the Southern Kyunggi National Police Agency formed a YG full-time team and proceeded with the investigation.
