We participated in the 7th Newsis Hallyu Expo (2025 K-Expo) and received the Seoul Mayor's Award. Hallyu Expo was held in 2019 to promote the sustainability of the Hallyu Wave and improve the competitiveness of the cultural industry.
It is hosted by the private news agency Newsis and is supported by the Ministry of Strategy and Finance, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Seoul City Council, the Korea Creative Content Agency, and the Seoul Tourism Foundation.
The four members, Hongjun, Seonghwa, Yeosang, and Jongho, attended the award ceremony and took the stage as recipients of the Seoul Mayor's Award.
With their hearts in their hands, the group said, "We are truly grateful to receive such an honorable award at such an honorable occasion. K-pop has gone beyond being a phenomenon and has become a genre, and we will continue to work hard as a part of it."
He continued, "I think we are here because so many people who love K-POP appreciate the value of K-POP the most.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the many K-pop fans, including [Name] Random."
Meanwhile, ATEEZ will release their second Japanese album, "Ashes to
Light” will be released.
