The Organizing Committee of the Seoul TV Series Awards announced the winners of the International Competition of the 20th Seoul TV Series Awards on the 6th.
The works that have advanced to the final round have been announced. A total of 276 submitted works were judged. "PACHINCO Season 2" was selected as a candidate for awards in a total of four categories.
The awards include Best TV Series and Best Director (Rhian Welham et al.), Main Prize (Soo Hugh), and Best Actress (Kim Min Ha).
The series is based on the novel of the same name by Korean-American author Lee Min-jin.
This is the story of Songja (Kim MinHa) and her family who left Korea for Japan during the Japanese colonial period.
It has received numerous global awards, including "Best Foreign Language Series" at the 28th Critics' Choice Awards and "Best Series at the 83rd Peace Prize."
The awards ceremony also saw the award winners from Netflix's "Otsukaresama," "Adolescence," and "Asura" in the "Entertainment" category.
Many works have been nominated, including "Like a Ghost," "One Hundred Years of Solitude," and Apple TV+'s "Severance Season 2."
Meanwhile, the Seoul TV Series Awards ceremony will be broadcast on SBS at 5:50 pm on October 2nd.
