The Korean TV series "UDT: Special Attack Force of Our Town" (10 episodes) is about a group of people who are not interested in defending their country, much less in world peace, but are gathered together for their own families and towns.
The story depicts the amusing joint operations of the reserve special forces. Actor Yoon Kye Sang plays Choi Kang, a former JDD special forces member who is an ordinary insurance investigator who has not served in the military.
Actor Jin Sun-Kyu plays Gwak Byung-nam, a former member of the HID anti-terrorism unit who now runs a hardware and stationery store as the chairman of the Changri-dong Youth Association.
Actress Kim Ji-hyeon plays Jung Nam-young, the president of MammoSmart.
Actor Go Gyu-pil plays Lee Young-hee, the director of the Yeongmu martial arts dojo.
Actor Lee Jung-ha plays Park Jung-hwan, an engineering student at Seoul University.
