Actress Jang Nara takes on her first villainous role since debut... Villain poster for ”Revenger 3” revealed

Korean actress Jang Nara is set to appear as the fourth villain in 'Taxi Driver 3'.

On the 15th, the production team of SBS's Friday-Saturday drama 'Model Taxi 3' released a special poster featuring Jang Nara, who follows Masashi Kasamatsu, Yoon Si-yoon, and Um Moon-seok in inheriting the presence of a legendary-level villain.

Last week's episode of “Taxi Driver 3" introduced actor Um Moon-seok as the third villain. Um Moon-seok took on the role of Jung Kwang-jin, a criminal with a human face but a beast's heart who routinely commits every conceivable evil deed, including illegal gambling, match-fixing, and murder, delivering a spine-chilling performance.

According to ratings agency Nielsen Korea, Episode 8 of ' Taxi Driver 3' achieved a peak viewership rating of 15.6%, with 12.9% in the metropolitan area and 12.3% nationwide. It not only topped its timeslot but also claimed the highest ratings among all miniseries aired that week. Its viewership among viewers aged 20 to 49 peaked at 5.19%, ranking first among all programmes across all channels in December.

Amidst this, a special poster featuring Jang Nara, who makes a special appearance as the fourth villain 'Kang Joo-ri', was released unexpectedly. Kang Joo-ri, a former girl group member turned entertainment agency CEO, is a character who hides a twisted inner self and greed behind the façade of a successful businesswoman. This marks Jang Nara's first villain role in her filmography.

Her appearance had been speculated and garnered attention through a silhouette poster released prior to the premiere. Amidst extraordinary viewer interest, anticipation is mounting for Jang Nara's signature villainous portrayal, now finally unveiled.

The released poster captures attention with Jang Nara's sophisticated, high-end styling. Her previously unseen eerie aura and smile are striking. Interest is piqued in what kind of performance Jang Nara, playing a villainous character for the first time since her debut, will deliver, and what kind of synergy she will create when she faces off against taxi hero Lee Jae-hoon (played by Kim Do-kyung).

The production team of ‘Taxi Driver 3' revealed, "The upcoming episodes 9 and 10 will spotlight all the exploitation, power harassment, and corruption hidden behind the glamorous success of K-POP."
