China's November road logistics freight index reached 105.4... ”Road market demand recovers slightly” - Chinese media

According to data recently released by the China Logistics Purchasing Federation, China's road logistics freight index in November was 105.4 points, up 0.46% from the previous month and 0.82% from the same month last year.
By vehicle type, the freight rate index for trucks, which mainly transport large items and regional transport, was 106 points, up 0.47% from the previous month and 0.98% from the same month last year.
Bulk cargo increased 0.27% from the previous month and 0.06% from the same month last year to 102.9 points, while small-lot and heavy cargo increased 0.59% from the previous month and 1.05% from the same month last year to 106.1 points.
Overall, demand in the road market maintained a slight recovery in November. Companies are accelerating production to meet year-end targets, and infrastructure construction projects are entering the final stages.
The industry has boosted demand for basic raw materials and other areas, supporting the foundation of road logistics demand. In addition, the effects of consumption promotion policies have been sustained, and demand in the consumer sector has remained strong.
The new transport capacity in the market has been steadily increasing, and although the traffic volume on the expressway fluctuates, the trunk line transport is generally stable. The transport capacity in the market is sufficient.
