[Official] Stray Kids to headline Rock in Rio next September... the first K-pop act to do so

Boy group Stray Kids has become the first K-pop act to perform at Brazil's mega music festival, Rock in Rio.
Stray Kids will perform as headliners at the Rio 2026 concert in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from September 4th to 7th and 11th to 13th, 2026 (local time).
They will be on stage as headliners at the large-scale music festival "Rock in Rio" held in Rio on the 11th. "Rock in Rio" is one of the world's largest music festivals.
The festival began in Rio de Janeiro in 1985 and has since been held in Lisbon, Portugal, Madrid, Spain, and Las Vegas, USA.
Guns N' Roses, Red Hot Chili Peppers
Peppers, Muse, and other prominent musicians from the era graced the final stage.
Stray Kids became the first K-pop act to be both a performer and a headliner at Rock in Rio, once again proving their place in the music industry.
Prior to this, Stray Kids will perform at Lollapalooza Paris in Paris, France in July 2023.
"I-Days" in Milan, Italy and "British Summer Time Hyde Park" in London, UK in July 2024.
Park (BST Hyde Park), and Lollapalooza Chicago in August of the same year.
They have headlined numerous major international festivals, including "Chicago"
As a performer, they were the highlight of the festival. Meanwhile, Stray Kids will be releasing their fourth full album "KARMA" on August 22nd this year in the US on September 6th.
It ranked first on the Billboard main album chart, the Billboard 200, making it the first artist in 70 years to have seven consecutive albums reach the top spot on the chart after debuting at number one.
The new album was released on the 21st and has been a worldwide hit for four consecutive days from the 21st to the 24th.
It reached number one on the album charts, sold over a million copies on the Hanteo charts on the day of its release, and topped the weekly physical album charts (17-23 November 2025) and
The new song "Do It" also topped the weekly retail 2.1 charts on the Spotify Daily Top Songs Chart Globally on the 21st.
He won the tournament and achieved his highest ranking ever.
