[Official] ”National Treasure” tops art film charts in Korea in opening week... beating out Hollywood blockbusters

The film "National Treasure" has achieved the top spot in the art film box office. According to the integrated computer network of cinema ticket sales as of the 24th (today), the film has attracted a cumulative audience of 58,328 in its opening week.
It surpassed the previous record of 100,000 viewers and recorded the top spot in the art film box office. Above all, it is a hit film with the likes of "Wicked" (hereinafter referred to as "Wicked") and "Now You See Me."
Not only did it rank fourth among Hollywood blockbusters at the box office, but despite the total seating capacity being an average of 91,000, less than 100,000 seats, the weekly seat sales rate was 100,000.
The average seat sales rate at the end of the film exceeded 13.7%, surpassing that of "Wicked." "National Treasure" showed a strange phenomenon in which the number of viewers increased further in the second and third weeks after its release in Japan.
