China's actual foreign capital inflows fell 10.3% year-on-year in January-October: Chinese media
According to the Ministry of Commerce, the number of foreign-invested companies newly established in China in the first 10 months of this year reached 53,782, up 14.7% from the same period last year. The amount of foreign capital introduced on an actual basis (hereinafter the same) fell 10.3% from the same period last year.
By industry, the amount of foreign capital introduced was 161.91 billion former (approximately 3.6 trillion yen) for China's manufacturing industry, 445.82 billion former (approximately 13.7 trillion yen) for the service industry, and 621.93 billion former (approximately 13.7 trillion yen) for the service industry.
The high-tech industry accounted for 192.52 billion formers (approximately 4.2 trillion yen). Of this, the electronic commerce (EC) service industry accounted for 173.2 billion formers (approximately 9.8 trillion yen).
The manufacturing industry saw an increase of 41.4%, while the manufacturing industry of aerospace equipment and facilities saw an increase of 40.6%.
Looking at real investment in China by investment destination, the United Arab Emirates saw a 48.7% increase, followed by the UK
increased by 17.1%, and Switzerland increased by 13.2%.
