An executive at a famous entertainment agency has been referred to prosecutors for committing indecent acts on a drunk woman and then leaving her on the side of the road, causing serious injuries.
On the 19th, Seocho Police Station in Seoul arrested a suspect in his 50s, A, on charges of quasi-forcible indecency and negligent injury.
In August of this year, suspect A picked up a drunk woman on a road in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and drove for about 20 minutes before parking the car in an alley.
The suspect is suspected of committing indecent acts against the woman. Suspect A then made the woman sit next to a telephone pole and left the scene.
The woman was left bleeding with severe facial injuries for an hour and a half.
He was later rushed to hospital after being reported by a passerby, where he was diagnosed with a cerebral hemorrhage, a skull fracture, and optic nerve damage, and lost vision in his left eye.
Police applied for arrest warrants for suspect A twice, but both were rejected.
The entertainment company where Suspect A is an executive stated that it is currently investigating the case and will take action based on the outcome of the trial.
