The Ministry of Finance recently released the income and expenditures of the national general public budget (equivalent to the general account) for January to October. According to the information released, the national general public budget revenue for January to October was 0.
The total was 18,649 billion yen (approximately 406.6 trillion yen), an increase of 0.8%. Of this, national tax revenue increased by 1.7% to 15,336.4 billion yen (approximately 334.3 trillion yen), and non-tax revenue increased by 3.1%.
The general public budget revenue of the central government fell 0.8% to 8.1856 trillion yen (approximately 178.5 trillion yen).
In addition, local general public budget revenue increased by 2.1% to 10.4634 trillion yen (approximately 228.1 trillion yen).
Meanwhile, national general public budget expenditures for January to October increased by 2.0% to 22.5825 trillion yen (approximately 4.4%).
Looking at the central and local governments separately, the central government's general public budget expenditures increased by 6.3% to 3,472.7 billion yen (approximately 75.7 trillion yen), and the local government's general public budget expenditures increased by 6.3% to 3,472.7 billion yen (approximately 75.7 trillion yen).
Exports increased by 1.2% to 19.1098 trillion yen (approximately 416.6 trillion yen).
