The results of a public opinion poll announced on the 14th showed that South Korean President Lee Jae-myung's approval rating had fallen by 4 percentage points from the previous week.
The Korean polling organization, Gallup Korea, conducted a survey of 100 voters aged 18 and over from the 11th to the 13th of this month.
According to a survey of three people, President Lee's approval rating was 56%, while 32% disapproved and 8% had no opinion.

The most common reason for supporting President Lee was "diplomacy" (30%), followed by "economy and people's lives" (14%) and "he's doing a good job overall" (7%).
The most common reasons for disapproval were "morality issues" and "avoiding the individual facing trial" (15%), followed by "the economy and people's lives" (10%) and "pro-China policies and visa-free entry for Chinese people."
The order of priority was "Daejang-dong case: pressure from the prosecution to abandon the appeal" and "dictatorship and arbitrary decision-making" (6% each).
Of the 1,29% of voters answered that it was "appropriate" and 48% answered that it was "inappropriate." Meanwhile, the approval ratings for political parties were tallied: 42% for the ruling Democratic Party of Korea and 24% for the main opposition People's Power Party.
Next were the New Reform Party (3%), the Fatherland Reform Party (2%), and the Progressive Party (1%), with 27% of respondents being independents.
