On the 12th, the State Post Administration announced that China's delivery volume increased significantly during the peak delivery season from October 21st to November 11th, with the single-day volume of parcels handled reaching a record high on peak days.
According to the latest data from the State Post Administration, during the same period, the total number of parcels handled by postal delivery companies nationwide reached 13.938 billion, an average of 117.8 million parcels per day.
The peak volume of deliveries per day reached a record high of 777 million parcels. An official from the post office said, "The reason for the sustained expansion of the parcel delivery market is the expansion of domestic demand for the postal parcel delivery business,
"This shows that it plays an important role in promoting consumption and stable growth."
