Musical actor Kim Joon-young, who has been forced to resign from a number of roles, apologizes in a handwritten letter for his involvement in a brothel. ”I regret my lack of behavior.”

Musical actor Kim Joon-young (35), who withdrew from his production amid allegations of visiting adult entertainment establishments, has posted a handwritten apology.

　On the 7th, Kim Joon-young stated in the handwritten apology posted to his SNS account: "I apologise for the disappointment and hurt caused to many people recently due to matters from my past personal life."

He added: "Regardless of whether any laws were broken, I acted inappropriately due to my own lack of awareness. This is my mistake for which I can offer no excuses, and I bear full responsibility."

　Kim Joon-young stated, "I have decided to withdraw from all projects where my relationship with my agency had already ended. However, I am well aware that this alone will not erase the hurt and disappointment I have caused." He continued, "I consider this not the end, but the beginning of taking responsibility. I will live my life in self-restraint, reflecting and never forgetting."

　He continued, "I also deeply apologise for the delay in offering this apology," explaining, "I hesitated, fearing further harm and disappointment, and rewrote this message many times, which caused the delay. That too is my shortcoming, my fault. Once again, I am truly sorry."

　Kim Joon-young recently posted a photograph on social media showing a receipt bearing a woman's name and an amount, which he hastily deleted. Subsequently, suspicions arose that Kim Joon-young may have visited an illegal adult entertainment establishment, sparking controversy.

　Regarding this controversy, his agency HJ CULTURE stated, "There was no illegal activity whatsoever," and clarified their position: "We will take firm measures, including legal action, against any malicious dissemination of false information and defamation." As the controversy persisted, HJ CULTURE announced, "We have terminated our exclusive contract with Kim Joon-young."

Due to the fallout, Kim Jo-young withdrew from all current and upcoming projects, including the plays 'Amadeus', 'Rachmaninoff', 'Eternity', and 'John Doe'.

　In his handwritten apology, Kim Joon-young included the following: "I bow my head in apology to the production companies, my agency, all related parties, fellow actors, and staff who have suffered harm because of me. I am truly sorry."
