歌手ソン・シギョン、10年来の前マネージャーの裏切りに...結局Youtubeも休止「体も心も傷ついた」
Singer Sung Si Kyung is betrayed by her former manager of 10 years... She has taken a break from YouTube after all. ”I'm hurt both physically and mentally.”
Korean singer Sung Si Kyung has shocked fans by revealing his feelings after suffering financial losses at the hands of a manager he worked with for over a decade, and has decided to take a break from YouTube for a while.

On the 4th, Sung Si Kyung posted a message on his YouTube channel's community board stating, "I will be taking a one-week break from YouTube this week. I apologise." Sung Si Kyung had consistently uploaded YouTube content despite a busy schedule including performances. This decision is believed to be related to the recent financial issues that have surfaced with his former manager.

Earlier on the 3rd, Sung Si Kyung's agency, SK Jewon, stated: "It has been confirmed that Son Si-kyung's former manager committed acts betraying the company's trust during the course of his duties while employed."

They added: "Following an internal investigation, we recognise the seriousness of the matter and are currently confirming the precise extent of the damage," further shocking fans by noting: "The relevant employee has now left the company."

Subsequently, Sung Si Kyung began by stating via his SNS, "The past few months have been a continuous period of truly painful and unbearable times. I experienced the breakdown of trust with someone I believed in, cherished, and thought of as family. While it's not the first time in my 25 years since debut, it wasn't easy even at this age."

He continued, "I disliked causing people worry or letting things fall apart, so I tried to maintain my daily routine and put on a brave face. However, while managing YouTube and scheduled concert schedules, I felt my body, mind, and voice were significantly damaged."

Sung Si Kyung also revealed he is contemplating whether to hold his annual year-end concert, stating, "Honestly, I've been constantly asking myself whether I can truly stand on stage in this situation, and whether I should. I want to be in a state where I can confidently say 'I'm fine' both mentally and physically. I will make a decision by the end of this week at the latest and post an announcement."

Finally, Sung Si Kyung added, "As always, this too shall pass, and I think it's fortunate I realised this before it got any worse. I will do my best to get through it well. Once again, I am truly sorry."

Netizens reflected on the affection Sung Si Kyung had shown his former manager, leaving comforting comments such as: "All I can say is just hang in there...", "I hope he prioritises his mental health over year-end concerts", and "We're always supporting you".
