Singer SOYOU (formerly SISTAR) revealed that she received an apology from the American airline that raised allegations of racism against her.
On the 31st of last month, SOYOU posted on her SNS, "Last week, I finished my schedule and was on my flight home.
"We are writing this to provide an accurate and clarified account of the incident that occurred on board the plane, as false facts and rumors are still being indiscriminately spread," the statement read.
"I was troubled by the series of incidents that followed, but before landing, I wrote up a statement of my concerns, which was accepted by the flight attendant on board. I also received an apology from Delta via email this week."
Prior to this, SOYOU posted on social media on the 19th, "Because we requested a Korean flight attendant, we were treated like problem passengers and even called to a security check."
