Singer and actor Cha Eun Woo (ASTRO) shed his military uniform for a suit to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit.

Cha Eun Woo hosted the welcome dinner for the APEC Leaders' Meeting, held under the theme 'Journey of Butterfly: Together, We Fly' at the Grand Ballroom of the Lahan Hotel in Gyeongju City, Gyeongsangbuk-do Province, on October 31st.

Cha Eun Woo, currently serving in the military, temporarily removed his uniform and took to the stage in a black suit.

Previously, images of Cha Eun Woo visiting the Gyeongju APEC site in his military uniform had been captured and become a topic of discussion online. He was then assigned to host the leaders' dinner event.

Cha Eun Woo, who entered the Army Training Centre in Nonsan, Chungcheongnam-do on July 28th, is currently serving with the Ministry of National Defence Support Group. He was selected to serve as a platoon leader trainee, a role chosen based on comprehensive evaluation of attitude, sincerity, and responsibility during training. He previously drew attention by being chosen as a trainee representative at the graduation ceremony.

It is reported that the Ministry of National Defence received a request from the APEC Summit Preparatory Planning Group asking for cooperation so that Cha Eun Woo could participate as the host of the summit dinner, and after consideration, approved it.
