Hong Jung-min participated in the 27th Korean Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) tournament held at 88 Country Club in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea on the 12th.
He won his third tour title this year with a total of 3 under par 69 at the newly established K-FOOD NOLBOO HWAMI MASTERS (total prize money: 1.2 billion won/approximately 127 million yen).
With four wins in total, Hong Jung Min is tied with Lee Ye Won and Bang Shin Sil for the most wins in a season. Prize money: 2
He won 160 million won, making him the top prize winner with a total of 1,294,016,667 won. He also rose from 4th to 2nd in points.
She is 100 points behind Njo. Hong Jeong-min also holds the record for her second career wire-to-wire victory (115th player in KLPGA Tour history).
After his victory, Hong Jung-min said, "I've won two games. I had a hard time with skin allergies, but I've recently recovered." He added, "Until now, I thought I was weak at golf in the fall.
"However, if I concentrate from now on, I think I can achieve good results in the remaining tournaments," he said of his victory. He continued, "My goal is to win every tournament," and "I want to finish the season with the most prize money."
Seo Gyo-rim, who finished in second place by just one stroke, has been steadily showing good results since joining the KLPGA in 2024, taking third place in the Rookie of the Year points category.
