尹錫悦元大統領夫妻、秋夕の朝食はミニチーズパンと豆腐キムチスープ…特別メニューはなし=韓国
Former President Yoon Seok-yeol and his wife had mini cheese buns and tofu kimchi soup for breakfast at their mid-autumn celebration...no special menu (South Korea)
It has been revealed that former President Yoon Seok-yeol and First Lady Kim Gun-hee were not provided with a special menu while spending the mid-autumn celebration (Chuseok, mid-autumn festival) holiday in detention.
According to the Ministry of Justice on the 2nd, the Seoul Detention Center where President Yoon is being held and the Seoul Southern Detention Center where Mrs. Kim is being held will not be offering a special mid-autumn celebration menu, and will be serving the usual menu.
The prison menu was served. At Seoul Detention Center, where former President Yoon is incarcerated, breakfast on the day of the mid-autumn celebration consisted of mini cheese buns, boiled eggs, nuts, and soy milk. Lunch was a soup of fried tofu and udon noodles.
The meal includes pork rib stir-fry, pickled chili peppers, and cabbage kimchi, and for dinner, beef and radish soup, saury kimchi stew, seaweed and yangnyeom, and fermented milk.
According to the menu for the mid-autumn celebration at Seoul Southern Detention Center, where Kim was held, breakfast included tofu kimchi soup, pickled vegetables, stir-fried seaweed, and chongak kimchi.
Lunch includes cheonggukjang, fried egg, namul, and daikon radish salad, while dinner includes spicy beef soup, japchae, jelly-fried jelly, and cabbage kimchi.
The correctional authorities have suspended the annual special menu for national holidays starting with this year's Lunar New Year (Seollal). However, they will continue to serve the menu for Liberation Day (the anniversary of the end of Japanese colonial rule) on August 15th.
On the anniversary of the country's liberation from colonial rule, President Yoon was treated to a special menu of stir-fried noodles with kabob ludak and ice cream, while First Lady Kim was treated to shaved ice and black bean soy milk.
The provision of special menus at correctional facilities is based on Article 29 of the Enforcement Order of the Law Concerning the Execution of Sentences and Treatment of Inmates.
The article stipulates that special menus can be provided on public holidays and similar days. Based on this, songpyeon (rice cakes), yugwa (fried confectionery), etc. can be provided on important holidays and public holidays such as Lunar New Year and mid-autumn celebrations.
In the past, a special menu was offered for the Lunar New Year, but this year's Lunar New Year special menu is not being offered. The Ministry of Justice explained to the media that the special menu for the Lunar New Year has been discontinued, saying,
"For the mid-autumn celebration, various items will be donated to correctional facilities across the country," he said, explaining, "If we offered a special menu, the number of donations would increase too much, so we are not offering a special menu (starting this year)."
It was revealed.
