As the show began, 'Like a Star' played throughout the venue, instantly eliciting excitement from fans eagerly awaiting Park Hyung Sik's arrival. As the song ended, thunderous applause rang out, and when Park Hyung Sik appeared on stage, the venue was filled with screams of joy.
The concert opened with 'Shine on You', featuring a mesmerizing, gentle piano melody. Fans were captivated by his expansive, delicate, and soft vocals. After finishing his song, he greeted the audience with a refreshing, "Hello everyone. I'm Park Hyo-sik!" and expressed his joy at the reunion, saying, "It's been a while since we last saw each other. I've really missed you (in Japanese)." He continued, "I've worked hard to prepare for today's performance so that I can show you all a great performance, so please enjoy yourself to the fullest," filling the venue with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Regarding the title of the fan concert, 'BEGINNING', he explained, "This is my first solo album and my first fancon. That's why I put the meaning of a new start with you all. I hope this time will be a special BEGINNING for me and Sikcret (my fans)." In response to the fans' unanimous response of "I love them all!" regarding the songs on his first solo album, he smiled with satisfaction and replied in Japanese, "All of them?! Thank you!" He continued, "I was very nervous because this is my first time recording an album in Japan and performing it live at my first fan convention. But I'm so happy that you all welcomed me so warmly. I chose the songs I'm about to perform because I knew you'd all love them," further raising fans' expectations. He continued, "The next song I'll perform is from the OST, and at the last concert, a lot of people said they wanted to hear a song from it, so I knew I had to prepare one this time. It's been a while since I last sang this song, so I'm nervous, but I'll do my best for you all."
After these words, he performed 'Bud', the OST for the drama 'Our Blooming Youth', in which he captivated viewers with his delicate acting as the excellent crown prince Lee Hwan, and 'Because of You', the OST for the drama 'Strong Woman Do Bong Soon', in which he played the role of heir Ahn Min Hyuk and caused countless heart-fluttering moments. As he made his way up the stage, cheers erupted whenever he got even slightly closer to the audience. He then meticulously sang each line of 'I'll Be Here', from the OST of the drama 'Hwarang', in which he captivated women worldwide with his pure, yet dignified portrayal of Ji-di. His appearance, illuminated by the spotlight, was the very definition of 'Hwarang'.
Next, a video was shown showcasing Park Hyung-sik's on and off-duty lives. The audience erupted in laughter as the audience watched the rare sight of his true self and his celebrity self chatting like friends. After a harmonious atmosphere, he reappeared onstage to perform 'Lean On Me', from the OST of the drama 'Dr. Slump', in which he showed off his rich acting as doctor Park Si-yul. When asked, "What do you like most about yourself? Choose from looks, habits, personality, etc.", he answered, "I'd choose my personality." He revealed, "My friend has it registered on his phone as 'I love everything about you,'" and continued, "I think that means I love you no matter what you do, and it's true. I love doing anything and going places with my friends. So I think I have a good personality," bringing smiles to the fans' faces. When asked, "What's your favorite hairstyle?" he hesitated for a moment before answering, "I like this style I've been using lately," and when he asked the audience, "Do i look cool (in Japanese)?" he received a huge round of applause.
When asked, "What are you happiest doing?" he answered honestly, "Right now. I'm happy when I'm with so many of you like this," to which the audience erupted in loud applause and cheers. "I sometimes get anxious during rehearsals and preparations, but the support and love from my fans gives me strength," he said, and when he expressed his gratitude in Japanese, saying, "It's all thanks to you all," many fans' hearts were warmed by his expression. When asked, "How do you sleep?" he answered, "Usually I sleep looking at the ceiling, but when I wake up I turn to my side," which prompted a fan to immediately ask, "What do you wear to sleep?" When asked, "If you could spend a month in Japan, where would you go?" he replied, "Hokkaido and Kyoto would be good, but for a month, I think Tokyo would be the place," to which fans responded with, "Fukuoka! Also, during the previous day's Q&A session, he was asked, "What song do you sing at karaoke?" Following his performance of a Roy Kim song, he briefly performed Roy Kim's 'If You Ask Me What Love Is'. He then introduced his favorite Japanese song and delivered a heartfelt rendition of Kenshi Yonezu's 'Lemon'. Though it was a short performance, it deeply moved the venue and delighted the fans.
After the Q&A, Park Hyungsik returned to the stage to sing. A rhythmic melody played as he performed Kenshi Yonezu's 'Lady'. Fans swayed and smiled as Park Hyungsik sang with light steps. As he walked up the runway, he became closer to his fans, and each time he beamed at the audience, cheers rang out. Next, a microphone stand was set up, and he took the stage to perform back number's "Happy End." He seemed to have carefully understood the Japanese lyrics, even incorporating hand gestures to match. The powerful band sound and his deep, powerful vocals filled the venue with emotion.
He then introduced the song, 'Himawari no Yakusoku', saying, "The message contained in this song is heartwarming, and I chose it in the hope that it would convey that feeling to everyone." He sang the heartwarming message of "I want to keep my promise to my loved ones, and I'll always be by your side," savoring every word, creating a heartwarming atmosphere throughout the venue.
And so the performance reached its climax. After a video was played that conveyed the message, "We will continue to move forward together with our fans," he followed it up with "I Miss You, I Want to See You," expressing his hopes for the future and a desire to reunite. "How was it, everyone? Was it great? My heart is still pounding. I was so excited and nervous preparing to share the title track from my first album with you all. I feel like my heart is going to explode," he said frankly.
This album is important to him, and at the same time, it represents a new beginning. "While looking back on the precious times I've spent with you all, I wanted to convey the musical things I wanted to do through this album. I'm so happy to be able to start a new chapter with you all with this song," he said, shouting "I'm so happy!" in Japanese, exploding with emotion. He then said, "You'll always be with me, right? Forever. I promise," and the fans responded with "I promise!", further enveloping the venue in a powerful bond.
Time flew by, and even though he expressed his disappointment in Japanese, saying, "I can't believe it!", he decided to perform the final song. "It's unfortunate, but I want to deliver this performance with a spring feeling. I hope that the time we spent together will remain in your memories forever. Let's keep it in our memories together," he said, before performing "Sakura Kaze." As the end of the runway rose, pink lights and petals reminiscent of cherry blossoms flew around the venue, Park Hyungsik's gentle voice warmly enveloped the entire venue. Soaking up the warmth, the fans clapped along, expressing their desire to stay together longer, calling for an encore. Images of fans holding signs reading "Congratulations on the album release," "My beloved Hyungsik," and "Thank you for making me happy" appeared on the screen, overflowing with love for Park Hyungsik throughout the venue.
In response to the fans' feelings, Park Hyungsik reappeared on stage to perform 'I Love You Girl'. He turned the microphone toward the audience, and the crowd filled the venue with a thunderous chorus, to which Hyungsik listened with delight. Many fans were surely moved by the sight of him looking directly into the faces of each fan as he sang, and by the sight of him spreading his arms as if to fully embrace their words of "I love you."
Park Hyung Sik said, "I'm so happy. It was so much fun to be able to enjoy this time with you all," and shouted "It's truly the best" in Japanese, to which the audience responded with cheers of "The best!" There was also a slogan time for photos, and he enjoyed a sense of unity with his fans until the very end.
"This really is our last song. Time has flown by," he said, before performing "Like a Star." Amid a flurry of falling cherry blossoms, he raised both hands and said "Thank you" in Japanese, then bowed deeply as he slowly surveyed the audience before leaving the stage.
Finally, a handwritten message for "To. Sikcret" was projected on the screen, warming the hearts of everyone in the venue.
As its name suggests, "PARK HYUNG SIK 2025 FANCON [BEGINNING]" was a day dedicated to marking a new beginning with fans. His voice, words, and gaze were all filled with deep love for Sikcret. Hyunsik repeatedly said, "Let's stay together forever," and "Promise." It was an unforgettable moment that made us feel that the bond between him and his fans will continue to be strong and warm.
